About
An ancestral spice, capsicum (peppers) is a diverse and pungent edible fruit from any of the varieties within the Capsicum genus. Capsaicin is found in the fleshy membrane of both sweet and hot peppers and in higher concentration in the seeds. This natural fruit may be used fresh or dried as a culinary spice, added to teas or taken in capsules to reap its medicinal benefits.
Capsicums also called peppers or bell peppers contain three reasons to be loved. One, it adds an active personality to your food due to its vibrant color. Two, it combines into any dish and gets out a certain zing and savor. While they belong to the same family like chilies, capsicums are mild-flavored and can jazz up a salad, provide a perky chomp to your pizza or pasta, and tastes incredible when roasted.
